
RTD will provide bus shuttle service Feb. 15 between Denver Airport and Peoria stations during A Line maintenance project
RTD will perform necessary maintenance that will affect commuter rail service the morning of Saturday, Feb. 15, on the A Line between Denver Airport Station and Peoria Station. Regular A Line service will continue to operate between Denver Union Station and Peoria Station.
The scheduled work will improve the commuter rail line’s overall reliability and safety. Bus shuttles will support A Line service between the four impacted stations and will not mirror regular train schedules. Customers should anticipate delays and allow for extra time to connect to and from the airport.
Bus shuttle boarding locations are as follows:
- Denver Airport Station: Arrivals at Gate 6; Departures at Gate 7
- Located at the DEN Transit Center, Level 1, adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport Hotel. The DEN Transit Center can be accessed at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal by exiting through the glass doors and taking the escalator or elevator down to ground level
- 61st•Peña Station: In front of the station
- 40th Ave & Airport Boulevard•Gateway Park Station: Gate A
- Peoria Station: Gate E
Rail service to the airport will resume following completion of the work prior to noon. The first train with continuous service to the Denver Airport Station is scheduled to depart Union Station at approximately 11 a.m. The first train with continuous service to Union Station is expected to depart Denver Airport Station at approximately 11:57 a.m.
